Bob McDonnell
Photographer,
Veteran, and Freelance Writer

Bob is a husband, father, grandfather and proud Air Force Vietnam-era veteran. His career spanned from high-tech to nonprofit to higher education. Currently, he is a semi-retired freelance writer and photographer.
Bob married a Loveland native and has lived there since 1969. His son is married, and Bob has high school and college-age granddaughters.
For 19 years, Bob has been a contributing writer for the Berthoud, CO newspaper. “Chicken Soup for the Soul” published one of his stories and Bob was a key contributor to a coffee table book about Loveland, CO.
Photography is his main interest now. “I want my images to evoke a feeling, raise a question or cause people to conjure up a story about what they see,” Bob says.
